About Tekton Carpentry & Design

Tekton Carpentry & Design is a company based in Brighton, East Sussex. We specialise in the design and production of high quality beautifully crafted handmade furniture, joinery and structures. We are a growing business that has been making a good name for itself in the south-east and over the past couple of years right across the country.

We provide an individual service, collaborating with a multitude of designers and makers to always bring our clients the highest quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail right through to delivery, fitting and after service.
 

My name is Leo. I started Tekton Carpentry & Design after studying three dimensional design at Brighton University. I discovered my love for craftsmanship at a young age working for my father’s building company and soon realised my talent and passion lay with carpentry, which quickly led to an obsession with wood as a material, fine carpentry and hand crafted furniture. It wasn’t long before friends and family were pushing me into doing something with my designs so I applied to study at Brighton. Never having really got on in education I was unsure but it turned out to be the perfect place to focus me and refine my design skills and techniques and where I met a lot of talented designers and makers. With fresh enthusiasm and inspiration, and equipped with the knowledge I needed I set up Tekton Carpentry and Design in 2005.

Since then we have gone from strength to strength.  Working with our clients to give them exactly what they want we have earned a loyal, satisfied and very much valued client base.
